Earlier this month TechEd Australia 2012 was held at the Gold Coast Convention Center. It was another great week of technical sessions, networking and social time for IT pros. I had a great time and learned a lot. Hopefully I will be there again next year.

This year we were fortunate to have our TechEd occur just after the public previews for Exchange Server 2013 and Lync 2013 were released, which meant that we got to attend some of the first conference sessions for these products anywhere in the world (except New Zealand, who got to see them a week before us).

The videos for the sessions are now online and I do strongly recommend taking the to watch as many of them as you can. My personal preference is to download the high quality iPad version and watch them on the daily commute and during lunch breaks.

There was also a session on Data Loss Prevention but it may not make it online due to problems with the A/V equipment in the room for the first 20 minutes or so of the session
