Thrive Conference 2019

The unmissable Thrive Conference is on the 11th – 13th November in Postojna, Slovenia, and this year it’s celebrating its 10th year as a high-level Microsoft technology conference. The renowned ‘participation event’ is an exclusive opportunity to network and learn from recognized and awarded expert speakers in the industry. There will be 39+ speakers sharing their knowledge at Thrive, all of which hold prestigious certificates such as MVPs, MCMs, MCTs, MCSEs and more.

Whilst you’re there you can expect over 75 high-quality sessions and 70+ hours of collaboration on the latest trends. Not only does the event share a wealth of technical wisdom, but you’ll also get to experience it from the heart of Europe in Slovenia. The team there always strives to make the experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Want to see what everyone else has to say? Check out some of the feedback received from last year’s event:

“It’s unlike a lot of conferences, this is a very confined conference, it takes place within a hotel so it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet all the attendees and socialize with them.”

Brett Lonsdale

“Thrive is actually small enough that you can have a conversation with your audience and they can have a conversation with you.”

Mike Fitzmaurice

“A very intimate experience, you’re very close with the attendees and you get to have a lot of useful conversations and be able to build a connection with the attendees and make new friends as well.”

Spencer Harbar

Many of these sessions will be speaking about the important topic, the “Modern Workplace” which isn’t a tool or service you just buy off the shelf, it’s your very own concept of teamwork.

Development Sessions

C# 8 and .NET Core 3.0 are due to be released in 2019. So, what’s new? And can you already use some of the functionalities? For example, discussions at the event will be around how to build intelligent bots for your modern workplace and why Machine Learning is more present in everyday applications?

Microsoft has released an array of tools that can help to secure and protect against these threats.

The cloud also brings new security challenges and raises a lot of questions. So, you can expect some deep-dives on this familiar issue. Moreover, we’ll discuss how to tackle security using Azure’s shared responsibility model that can address any challenge with the right approach.
