Microsoft announced changes to the Microsoft Certified Master program for Exchange Server 2010 that make it possible for a candidate to sit the two exams in a local testing center instead of travelling to Redmond for them.

They’ve also said that the 3 week training program at Redmond is no longer a requirement to sit the MCM Exchange Server 2010 exams.

Has this change made you want to pursue the MCM Exchange Server 2010 certification? Please vote in the poll below.

    Hi Paul,

If we keenly look at the price, where I can write only the knowledge exam. And I cant go for the LAB exam, its not because of Technical issue, its because of the Price ( where my yearly salary is less than the exam fee)

So my question is, If I take only the knowledge exam and if i’m not going to take to lab exam, will I get an MCM knowledge exam passed certification? MCM will it appear on the my profile? Can I say to others that Im an MCM?

Raj, you should refer to the official Microsoft page for the most accurate information, but from what I understand you will need to sit both exams to obtain the certification.
