If you look in the list of installed programs on an Exchange 2013 server you might be surprised to see the “Microsoft Lync Server 2013, Bootstrapper Prerequisites Installer Package” appear.

It is installed as part of the Unified Communications Managed API 4.0 Runtime, which is one of the Exchange 2013 prerequisites.

    What would be impact if we remove MS Lync 2013 bootstrapper if server is using as Exhange hybrid server where MRS proxy is enabled and to mail flow between Exchange On-Prem and Exchange online. No Mailbox is hosted on Hybrid server
